There is an infrequent bus service from Newbury to Hampstead Norreys. The stops are:
Newbury - Hermitage - Hampstead Norreys - Compton - East Ilsley - West Ilsley
Yes! This is the only bus that comes through Hampstead Norreys. So, if you wanted to get here on public transport from say....Pangbourne, you'd need to get a train to Newbury and then the bus.
We didn't say this was going to be easy! But, if you're game....
The nearest train stations are Newbury (20 minutes drive), Pangbourne, and Goring and Streatley (both approximately 15 minutes drive).

If you have some empty seats and know other people coming to GreenFest, you could consider your car pooling options.
Take B4009 from Robin Hood roundabout. This road will take you through Curridge, Hermitage and straight into Hampstead Norreys.
Alternatively, Access Hampstead Norreys via the M4 Junction 13 exit at Chieveley.

Take the A34 towards Newbury. Exit at East Ilsley and follow the signs to Hampstead Norreys
The GreenFest Car park is located on the B4009 just before the railway bridge if you are driving in from Newbury direction. It will be well signed posted throughout the village.
Bike parking will be outside the Village Hall by Meadvale-Bays Bicycle Services, who will be offering free bike checks and tune-ups for cyclists.
Bikes can also be chained along the railings at St Mary's Church.
